Current Openings

Microphone Production Assistant (Full Time)

Our in-house product assembly team is looking for a full-time Production Assistant at our main production facility here in Oberschöneweide, Berlin, Germany.

This role mainly entails the following tasks: soldering components and capsules to PCBs, assembling and testing PCB stacks, assisting in the production through use of CNC, press drills and UV printers, to final assembly of studio microphones as well as fault finding any issues that may occur during production, acoustic semi-anechoic testing of assembled and prototype devices, while maintaining a high attention to detail and ensuring adherence to our set quality control standards and practices, at the same time working together and building-on our overall production process as part of our welcoming and inclusive team.

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time job (Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week)
  • Usual hours are 10 AM to 6 PM (10:00-18:00) but are flexible with negotiation

Main Tasks

  • assembling PCBs
  • soldering THT/SMT components to PCBs
  • assembling/wiring/soldering and testing microphones
  • fault finding any issues that may occur during production
  • assisting in the overall production and acoustic testing
  • final packing of product

Required Skills

  • soldering of THT-Parts
  • skilled in handling of mid-size wrenches, screwdrivers and other small tools
  • high-level of attention to detail, with focus on efficient time management
  • a proactive and solution driven mindset
  • ensuring adherence to Aim Audio quality control standards and practices
  • experience with MS office applications (Word/Excel)

Optional, but desirable skills

  • soldering of SMT parts
  • working with mechanical engineering hardware, including CNC mills and UV-printers
  • experience and understanding of precision audio testing equipment
  • playing musical instruments and/or having an interest in pro audio etc.

Social Media Assistant (Full Time)

Are you captivated by music and audio equipment, but at the same time have a creative flair and a desire to communicate and assist others?

We’re seeking a Social Media Assistant to help us expand Aim Audio’s digital footprint and support our overall social communications efforts. Working alongside our Marketing and Product Management teams, this creative and dynamic role would ideally suit someone who lives in the Berlin area or can regularly commute to our HQ.

The successful applicant requires a will to develop and implement informed content strategies that are tailored to the differing strengths of various social media platforms, all with a view to increase brand awareness and affinity.

 

Working Hours

  • This is a full-time job (Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours a week)
  • Usual hours are 10 AM to 6 PM (10:00-18:00) but are flexible with negotiation 

 

Main Tasks

  • generate, edit, curate, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and brand news)
  • perform research on audience preferences and current trends in our market segments of music production, content creation and pro audio
  • design and implement a social media growth strategy in cooperation with our marketing and management teams, to align with Aim Audio’s needs and goals
  • set specific objectives and report on ROI
  • proactively engage with customers, in cooperation with our support and product management departments
  • ensuring adherence to and building on the Aim Audio brand guidelines 

 

Required Skills

  • excellent language abilities, including conversational and written English
  • a deep understanding and passion for social media and digital marketing in general
  • high-level of attention to detail, with a focus on efficient time management, relating to independent working
  • a proactive and solution driven mindset
  • understanding of audio equipment including microphones
  • visual creative flair and familiarity with cameras
  • experience with Adobe Suite, MS office (Word/Excel) and CRM tools

 

Optional, but desirable skills

  • experience in a similar role
  • a musical background – playing instruments and/or having an interest in pro audio etc.
  • overall familiarity with recording equipment, DAWs, hardware and plug-in instruments and effects
  • involvement in general product marketing and/or copywriting
  • an understanding of how advertising campaigns function
  • a good existing network of content creators
  • familiarity with using project management software
